Spring/Summer Newsletter 2011
Welcome to Bliss Bytes!
It has been an extremely active year at Bliss in San Francisco. Time is moving far too quickly. We are gearing up for a summer of juicy and delicious events. Last summer we had several absolutely amazing Dance Your Bliss workshops at the Omega Institute in New York.
Many fabulous, creative, TRULY alive, sparkling, courageous beings came together for a spectacular, transformative, healing workshop.
Dance Your Bliss is about much more than dance. We actually cycle through three types of creative expression:
dance/movement, drawing and writing.
Each participant left knowing themselves a little more, loving themselves fully and living from a much more embodied place. If only we could all have this gift.
As I write this, I trust that we all will continue in our dances, be fully open to our Bliss, and remember that we are all creative geniuses.
See you in the dance,
~Rachel

Listening To Wild Soundscapes...A new field of biology called 'soundscape ecology' has scientists recording all the sounds in a given habitat and listening for patterns and changes. Ecologist Bryan Pijanowski and bioacoustician Bernie Krause discuss what we can learn from listening to natural soundscapes. http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/0316086878/sciencefriday/
Sweetness:
What we really want to do is what we are really meant to do. When we do what we are meant to do, money comes to us, doors open for us, we feel useful, and the work we do feels like play to us. ~Julia Cameron Look for your other half who walks next to you and tends to be who you aren't ~Antonio Machodo (trans. by Robert Bly)
